Has anyone checked out the new CX70 … What are your thoughts?

The CX70 offers a lot for its price. Looks great, drives well, and has many features. Why would anyone not want one?

Agreed. It reminds me of when the Kia Telluride came out. It’s a great value compared to others in its class. I like my older Mazda 6, but if I were to buy a new car, I’d choose the CX70.

@Zara
Yeah, ours is the Turbo S premium in black and red. It has everything I need without extra features. The Telluride doesn’t have the same quality in the steering wheel design.

I want to mention the dealership experience. While Mazda cars are more refined now, the dealership process isn’t. They use tactics similar to used car dealers, making the process stressful. Even with a good credit score and income, it felt like they didn’t value my business. It was one of the worst car buying experiences I’ve had.

I have the PHEV version and I haven’t heard any rattles, but the back seats shake sometimes. I’ll go to the dealer soon. I also had issues like the car not starting sometimes and doors not unlocking properly. Also, there’s a weird noise around the rear wheels.

I was upset with this car initially, but now I see the CX-70 makes more sense as a two-row SUV. It looks better and has more power. However, Mazda didn’t differentiate enough between the 70 and 90, making them seem too similar.

Beautiful! Best of luck with it. I’m surprised to hear about rattling since my CX-5 has none after 80k miles.

Did they remove the annoying seatbelt chime yet?

You can adjust the volume in the settings :slightly_smiling_face:

I haven’t found that setting yet, but it’s annoying. I’ll check it out.

CAN YOU? We have the 2023 CX50 and it makes me not want another Mazda.

The CX-70 is much larger than the CX-50 and has more power. The wireless charging isn’t very effective, so I prefer using a cable for stability.

Thanks for clarifying.

It’s not the same as the CX-50. The CX-70 is built on a different platform and doesn’t share components with the CX-30 or Mazda 3. It’s more similar to the CX-60.

Thanks for pointing that out. My preferences still stand though; I prefer the larger size and better performance of the CX-70.
