I’m not too familiar with Mazda models… anyone know which one this is?

That’s the CX-50.
These photos look amazing!
As someone new to Mazda, why do people prefer cars made in Japan? I’m thinking about the CX-50 hybrid, and it says the engine and transmission are made in Japan, but it’s assembled in the US. Curious because a lot of cars like the Accord and RAV4 are built the same way.
@Noor
People say Japanese-made cars are better. But honestly, my Gen 3 Mazda 3 made in Mexico had no rattles. My Gen 4 Mazda 3 and MX-5, both made in Japan, did have some rattles. The dealer fixed some, but not all. I think it’s just luck.
@Noor
They usually have better build quality.

I prefer my Mazdas to trigger Geiger counters.
That color scheme reminds me of a stormtrooper… pretty cool.
I love my CX-50! I’m in a CX-50 group and some folks working at the Huntsville, Alabama factory even bought one. So, I think it’s fine that it’s not made in Japan. Not all CX-5s are made in Japan either—they build them in Russia, Malaysia, China, and maybe Mexico too.
The design is nice, but I’m not a fan of all that plastic around it.
I’m really loving this design.
This feels too wide for Japanese or even European roads. It was clearly made for the US market.

Come on, you know they have cars like the M5 over there, right?
The inside feels underwhelming to me.
Hard to believe the CX-90 came after this…

The CX-50 isn’t replacing the CX-5. Mazda tricked people. It’s basically a CX-3 chassis with a wider body.
I wish they painted the black plastic trim to match the body.
It kind of looks like a Japanese version of a BMW.

With how bad BMW designs have been lately, that’s kinda harsh!
