I got this one: CarlinKit 5.0 Dongle - Wired to Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter,Online Update,2-Channel Connection, Plug & Plug, 10s Auto-Connect for Cars with OEM Wired CarPlay & Android Auto from 2015 : Amazon.ca: Electronics. It works well so far. There’s about a 20-second delay when starting the car, but after that, it’s smooth.

For the CX-5: A trunk organizer with handles and clips is super handy. I also keep a few microfiber towels for cleaning spills or touch-ups. My CX-5 only has a USB phone charger, so CarPlay doesn’t charge fast enough. I added a cigarette lighter fast charger, and now I don’t worry about battery life.
