Picked up my first Mazda… what do you think about my 2023 CX-5?

Just got my hands on a 2023 Mazda CX-5 with only 15,000 miles. I’m absolutely loving it so far! The car looks amazing, and the color is perfect. What do you all think?

Thanks so much! I really love the color. It was a big part of why I picked this one, especially since Mazda isn’t offering this shade anymore in the 2025 models.

That’s a really good-looking car. Was the $27K the total price, or was that before taxes and fees? I’m also looking at CX-5s, so I’d love to know what prices are like.

The $27K was just the sticker price. After taxes and fees, it came to about $29K. I bought it through CarMax, and I liked that they showed all the fees upfront when I applied for financing. Prices seem to be dropping lately too—this one dropped by $1K just before I reserved it.

Prices definitely vary depending on location. I just got a certified 2022 CX-5 Premium Plus with 32K miles for $27K out the door here in the Midwest. It seems like $25-27K is the range for these cars with a certified warranty.

Yeah, it was a single-owner lease vehicle with regular maintenance. It’s in great shape!

Thanks! It’s the 2.5 S Preferred trim, and I paid $27K.

Great choice. I have a red 2023 CX-5 with 18K miles, and it’s been amazing so far.
